  • Journal of Aging and Physical Activity

The Journal of Aging and Physical Activity (JAPA) is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original research reports, scholarly reviews, and professional-application articles on the relationship between physical activity and the aging process. The Journal encourages the submission of articles that can contribute to an understanding of (a) the impact of physical activity on physiological, psychological, and social aspects of older adults and (b) the effect of advancing age or the aging process on physical activity among older adults.

  • International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry

The rapidly increasing world population of aged people has led to a growing need to focus attention on the problems of mental disorder in late life. The aim of the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry is to communicate the results of original research in the causes, treatment and care of all forms of mental disorder which affect the elderly. The Journal is of interest to psychiatrists, psychologists, social scientists, nurses and others engaged in therapeutic professions, together with general neurobiological researchers.

  • Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders

As a unique forum devoted exclusively to the study of cognitive dysfunction, Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders concentrates on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s chorea and other neurodegenerative diseases. The Journal draws from diverse related research disciplines such as psychogeriatrics, neuropsychology, clinical neurology, morphology, physiology, genetic molecular biology, pathology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology and pharmaceutics. Strong emphasis is placed on the publication of research findings from animal studies which are complemented by clinical and therapeutic experience to give an overall appreciation of the field.

  • Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neurology

Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neurology (JGP) brings together original research, clinical reviews, and timely case reports on neuropsychiatric care of aging patients, including age-related biologic, neurologic, and psychiatric illnesses; psychosocial problems; forensic issues; and family care. The Journal offers the latest peer-reviewed information on cognitive, mood, anxiety, addictive, and sleep disorders in older patients, as well as tested diagnostic tools and therapies. This Journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Experimental Gerontology

Experimental Gerontology is a multidisciplinary journal for the publication of work from all areas of biogerontology, with an emphasis on studies focused at the systems level of investigation, such as whole organisms (e.g. invertebrate genetic models), immune, endocrine and cellular systems, as well as whole population studies (e.g. epidemiology). The Journal also publishes studies into the behavioural and cognitive consequences of aging, where a clear biological causal link is implicated.

  • Alzheimer's & Dementia: Journal of the Alzheimer's Association

The mission of Alzheimer's & Dementia: Journal of the Alzheimer's Association is to bridge the knowledge gaps across a wide range of bench-to-bedside investigation. The Journal publishes the results of studies in: behavior, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology, protein chemistry, neurology, neuropathology, psychiatry, geriatrics, neuropsychology, epidemiology, sociology, health services research, health economics, political science and public policy. Content emphasizes interdisciplinary investigations, integrative/translational articles, related to: etiology, risk factors, early detection, disease modifying interventions, prevention of dementia and applications of new technologies in health services.

  • Aging

Aging publishes high-impact research papers of general interest and biological significance in all fields of aging research including but not limited to cellular senescence, DNA damage and repair, organismal aging, age-related diseases, genetic control of aging from yeast to mammals, regulation of longevity, evolution of aging, anti-aging strategies and drug development and especially the role of signal transduction pathways in aging and potential approaches to modulate these signaling pathways to extend lifespan.

  • American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry

The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry is the authoritative source of information for the rapidly developing field of geriatric psychiatry. The Journal contains peer-reviewed articles on the diagnosis and classification of psychiatric disorders of later life, epidemiological and biological correlates of mental health of older adults, and psychopharmacology and other somatic treatments. The Journal is published twelve times a year.

  • Current Gerontology and Geriatrics Research

Current Gerontology and Geriatrics Research aims at scientists, geriatricians, health professionals interested in molecular, cellular, organismal aspects of gerontological research and in diagnosis, treatment, evaluation and educational aspects of geriatrics research. The Journal also highlights new discoveries, approaches as well as technical developments in basic, clinical and discovery driven translational research.

  • Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics

Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics provides a medium for the publication of papers from the fields of experimental gerontology and clinical and social geriatrics. The principal aim of the Journal is to facilitate the exchange of information between specialists in these three fields of gerontological research. Experimental papers dealing with the basic mechanisms of aging at molecular, cellular, tissue or organ levels will be published.
