• Genes

Genes is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal which provides an advanced forum for studies related to genes, genetics and genomics. It publishes reviews, research articles, communications and technical notes. This Journal covers all topics related to genes, genetics and genomics including, but not limited to: DNA; RNA; genetic code; gene structure; gene expression; chromosomes; recombination and linkage; genetic mapping; transcriptional profiling; analysis of noncoding and other RNAs; cloning; genetically modified organisms; human genetics; medical genetics; gene therapy; personal medicine; population genetics; conservation genetics; phylogenomics; phylogenetics; genome projects; genomics, and sequencing technologies; bioinformatics.  Genes is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Genes, Brain and Behavior

Genes, Brain and Behavior was launched in 2002 with the aim of publishing top quality research in behavioral and neural genetics in their broadest sense. The emphasis is on the analysis of the behavioral and neural phenotypes under consideration, the unifying theme being the genetic approach as a tool to increase our understanding of these phenotypes.

  • Frontiers in Genetics

All specialty sections of Frontiers in Genetics are open-access and aim to publish leading-edge research, reviews, opinions, and commentaries across the full spectrum of genetic and genomic inquiry, from the most basic to the most applied; across all branches of the tree of life; embracing methodology, applications, and implications.

  • European Journal of Human Genetics

The European Journal of Human Genetics is the official journal of the European Society of Human Genetics, publishing high-quality, original research papers, short reports and reviews in the rapidly expanding field of human genetics and genomics. It covers molecular, clinical and cytogenetics, interfacing between advanced biomedical research and the clinician, and bridging the great diversity of facilities, resources and viewpoints in the genetics community.

  • Mammalian Genome

Mammalian Genome aims to publish papers that undertake genetic, genomic and computational approaches for the study of biological and disease systems in mammals. Mammalian Genome focuses on the experimental, theoretical and technical aspects of genomics and genetics in mouse, human and other species, in particular those aspects bearing on the relationship between gene and phenotype and the elucidation of biological or disease pathways and the associated systems. The Journal aims to publish high quality original papers that present novel findings in all areas of mammalian genetic research as well as review articles on areas of topical interest. The Journal will also feature commentary and editorial to alert and inform readers of developments in the areas of mammalian genetics and functional genomics.

  • Heredity

Heredity is the official journal of the Genetics Society. It covers a broad range of topics within the field of genetics and therefore papers must address conceptual or applied issues of interest to the Journal's wide readership. The Journal particularly encourages submissions in the following areas: population genetics (including human), genomics, functional genomics and proteomics, evo-devo biometrical and statistical genetics, ecological and evolutionary genetics, animal and plant breeding, and cytogenetics.

  • Molecular Medicine

Molecular Medicine is an Open Access, international, peer-reviewed, biomedical journal published by the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research (New York). Molecular Medicine strives to understand normal body functioning and disease pathogenesis at the molecular level, which may allow researchers and physician-scientists to use that knowledge in the design of specific molecular tools for disease diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal should maintain this focus and describe the implications for human disease, at a level approachable by the broad readership of Molecular Medicine

  • DNA Research

DNA Research is an internationally peer-reviewed journal which aims at publishing papers of highest quality in broad aspects of DNA and genome-related research. Emphasis will be made on the following subjects: 1) Sequencing and characterization of genomes/important genomic regions, 2) Comprehensive analysis of the functions of genes, gene families and genomes, 3) Techniques and equipments useful for structural and functional analysis of genes, gene families and genomes, 4) Computer algorithms and/or their applications relevant to structural and functional analysis of genes and genomes. The Journal also welcomes novel findings in other scientific disciplines related to genomes.

  • Clinical Epigenetics

Clinical Epigenetics, the official journal of the Clinical Epigenetics Society, is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that encompasses all aspects of epigenetic principles and mechanisms in relation to human disease, diagnosis and therapy. Clinical trials and research in disease model organisms are particularly welcome.

  • Advances in Genetics

Advances in Genetics provides the latest information on the rapidly evolving field of genetics, presenting new medical breakthroughs that are occurring as a result of advances in our knowledge of the topic. The book continually publishes important reviews of the broadest interest to geneticists and their colleagues in affiliated disciplines, critically analyzing future directions.
