I am a clinical associate lecturer at Macquarie University, Sydney-Australia, since October 2016.
I furthered my Australasian neurosurgical experience and completed three fellowships in Australia; 12-month Neuro-Oncology Surgery Fellowship at Macquarie University Hospital, 12-month General Neurosurgery Fellowship at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, and 18-month General Neurosurgery Fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
I completed my medical degree (MD) from Al-Quds University, Jerusalem-Palestine in 2005, and served as a resident medical officer in Palestine until 2007. Then I moved to Amman-Jordan where I undertook my Neurosurgical Training at the Royal Medical Services, and was admitted as a Neurosurgeon in 2013.
I was awarded Certificate of Specialization in Neurosurgery from Palestine Medical Council Board (PMCB-NS) in 2013 and Acknowledgement of Arab Board Achievement in Neurosurgery from the Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS-NS) in 2014.
My main areas of interest include management of Brain and Spinal cord tumours, Skull Base surgery, and Cerebro-Vascular surgery. |
