• Performed many independent surgeries like:
o Pterygium excision with conjunctival limbal autografting
o Cataract surgeries by manual small incision sutureless technique (manual phaco/SICS)- have performed 950 independent surgeries on hard brown , mature , intumescent , subluxated , morgagnian cataracts at Aravind eye hospital , Madurai.
o Phacoemulsification with foldable IOL implantation – performed 150 independent procedures
o Lacerated lid repairs in layers and corneal tear repairs for trauma patients
o Performed and assisted in glaucoma surgeries like trabeculectomies
o Performed thousands of NdYAG LASER capsulotomies and YAG laser peripheral iridotomies
• Trained chief residents in small incision sutureless cataract surgery (SICS) from Massachusetts eye and ear infirmary , Harvard medical school , UCLA , Stanford and many other reputed medical schools from US and Canada
• Teaching and taking ophthalmology classes and training phacoemulsification and small-incision sutureless cataract surgery (SICS) for international fellows and residents from USA , Canada , Brazil , Argentina and many African and middle-eastern countries
• Attended Outdoors OPDS and examining Surgical Patients along with the consultants
• Responsible for ward teaching and tutorials to MBBS students
