I am the chief medical officer of Khafji national hospital since April 2010. I work as assistant medical director since 1996, quality improvement director since 2007. I have PhD in health administration completed in 2012, master degree in public health management completed in 2008. Master degree in ophthalmology in 1992 .MBBCH IN 1987. I have course in quality improvement as organization health surveyor in 2007 from American gulf international located in Oklahoma City.
I lead a harmonious team formed of medical director, quality improvement director, nursing director, finance director and administrator.
The team is responsible for implementation of strategic plan of higher administration like implementation of CBAHI standards, improving the quality of healthcare services, commitment to share community activities, to supply community with preventive and curative services.
I lead supply chain management and revenue cycle management with the help of finance team through an electronic information system.
I have multiple researches related to community problems titled new management of epidemic viral keratoconjunctivitis, prevalence of osteoporosis using DEXA scan among Khafji residents, prevalence of vit.D deficiency in Khafji area.
I share in mock surveys in Dammam general hospital Babtin cardiac center Khafji national hospital and Khafji joint operation hospital JCI Accredited.
I share Khafji medical forum with many presentations titled Diabetic retinopathy , hand washing, quality improvement project ,team formation, how to write a policy, implementation of policy and procedure of CBAHI accreditation, international patient safety goals ,medical waste disposal and refractive error.
We share the local health authority with their preventive activities to the community like notification of infectious diseases either daily, weekly monthly and quarterly reports. Health education of the public according to their age groups, welcare baby program: good history taking , physical examination ,immunization, child growth monitoring , developmental assessment and counseling . We give presentation regarding mandatory physical activities, obesity, diabetes mellitus eye problem kidney problems, diabetic foot, hypertension, Osteoporosis, myocardial infarction, antismoking and antidrug campaign .during Khafji summer festival we have a clinic there to screen for diabetes and hypertension also collecting blood from donors. We share in world health days. I am dedicated to supply customers with high quality cost effective healthcare services. |
