Links : Genetics
  • Gene Therapy

Gene Therapy covers both the research and clinical applications of the new genetic therapy techniques currently being developed. Over the last decade, gene therapy protocols have entered clinical trials in increasing numbers and as they cover a wide spectrum of diseases, these studies promise to unite the diverse organ-based specialities into which modern medicine has become divided.

  • Physiological Genomics

Physiological Genomics publishes original papers, reviews and rapid reports in a wide area of research focused on uncovering the links between genes and physiology at all levels of biological organization. Articles on topics ranging from single genes to the whole genome and their links to the physiology of humans, any model organism, organ, tissue or cell are welcome. Areas of interest include complex polygenic traits preferably of importance to human health and gene-function relationships of disease processes. Specifically, the Journal has dedicated Sections focused on genome-wide association studies (GWAS) to function, cardiovascular, renal, metabolic and neurological systems, exercise physiology, pharmacogenomics, clinical, translational and genomics for precision medicine, comparative and statistical genomics and databases.

  • Immunogenetics

Immunogenetics publishes original papers, brief communications, and reviews on research in the following areas: genetics and evolution of the immune system; genetic control of immune response and disease susceptibility; bioinformatics of the immune system; structure of immunologically important molecules; and immunogenetics of reproductive biology, tissue differentiation, and development.

  • Neurogenetics

Neurogenetics publishes findings that contribute to a better understanding of the genetic basis of normal and abnormal function of the nervous system. Neurogenetic disorders are the main focus of the Journal. Neurogenetics therefore includes findings in humans and other organisms that help understand neurological disease mechanisms and publishes papers from many different fields such as biophysics, cell biology, human genetics, neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neurology, neuropathology, neurosurgery and psychiatry.

  • Clinical Genetics

Clinical Genetics links research to the clinic, translating advances in our understanding of the molecular basis of genetic disease for the practising clinical geneticist. The Journal publishes high quality research papers, short reports, reviews and mini-reviews that connect medical genetics research with clinical practice.

  • Human Genomics

Human Genomics is a peer-reviewed, open access, online journal that focuses on the application of genomic analysis in all aspects of human health and disease, as well as genomic analysis of drug efficacy and safety, and comparative genomics. Topics covered by the Journal include, but are not limited to: pharmacogenomics, genome-wide association studies, genome-wide sequencing, exome sequencing, next-generation deep-sequencing, functional genomics, epigenomics, translational genomics, expression profiling, proteomics, bioinformatics, animal models, statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, human population genetics and comparative genomics.

  • Genes and Immunity

Genes & Immunity emphasizes studies that demonstrate genetic, genomic or functional variation in the immune system, and assist our understanding of how the basic control over the immune system varies between individuals both in health and disease.

  • Human Gene Therapy

Human Gene Therapy is the premier, multidisciplinary journal covering all aspects of gene therapy. The Journal publishes in-depth coverage of DNA, RNA, and cell therapies by delivering the latest breakthroughs in research and technologies. Human Gene Therapy provides a central forum for scientific and clinical information, including ethical, legal, regulatory, social, and commercial issues, which enables the advancement and progress of therapeutic procedures leading to improved patient outcomes, and ultimately, to curing diseases.

  • BMC Medical Genomics

BMC Medical Genomics is an open access journal publishing original peer-reviewed research articles in all aspects of functional genomics, genome structure, genome-scale population genetics, epigenomics, proteomics, systems analysis, and pharmacogenomics in relation to human health and disease.

  • Journal of Genetics and Genomics

The Journal of Genetics and Genomics (JGG, formerly known as Acta Genetica Sinica ) is an international journal publishing peer-reviewed articles of novel and significant discoveries in the fields of genetics and genomics. Topics of particular interest include but are not limited to molecular genetics, developmental genetics, cytogenetics, epigenetics, medical genetics, population and evolutionary genetics, genomics and functional genomics as well as bioinformatics and computational biology.
