Robot to Perform Complicated Heart Surgery at Ahsa Hospital

HOFUF — A robot will perform complicated heart surgery at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center in Al-Ahsa.

The operation will be aired on YouTube as part of The Fourth International Conference for Advanced Cardiac Sciences.


Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdulqader, conference president, said the event would discuss non-medical related heart sciences. Previous conferences have gained the admiration of Western research centers. It will emphasize the importance of the heart over other body parts.

The conference will carry the sub-theme, "The King of Membranes." It will attract scientists from the US, Japan, Europe, and other countries. It will include many lectures on various scientific and cardiac subjects and new scientific discoveries will be announced.

The conference will discuss the dangerous heart factors humans are subjected to. In addition, it will reveal the secrets of the different pulses humans experience based on how they are feeling. A new mechanism to reduce blood pressure without medication will be announced.

The conference will start on Sunday and finish on Wednesday.
