al rabeeah3Dr. Al-Rabeeah Sends a Cable of Thanks to King Abdullah for Patronizing the Inauguration of Several Health Projects

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has sent a cable of thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, for his gracious patronage of the inauguration and foundation-laying of several health projects.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah was quoted as saying, "It is a great honor bestowed upon the Ministry of Health, its employees, and the health sector as a whole, to have the inauguration and foundation-laying of several health projects held under the gracious auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, at a total cost of SR 12.084.987.421. These projects include the inauguration of 29 hospitals and health facilities, and 391 primary healthcare centers, as well as laying the foundation of two medical cities, and projects in three existing medical cities and a specialist hospital, in addition to seven general hospitals, two medical towers, 73 digital operation theatres, and 111 primary healthcare centers."


"Right now," Al-Rabeeah added, "the Ministry is sparing no effort to realize the directives given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stipulating the establishing of 122 hospitals, medical towers, and 305 primary healthcare centers. The Ministry is seeking, besides, to double the number of clinical beds over the upcoming seven years, in an endeavor to meet the growing demand of health services, thus maintaining citizens' comfort, and preserving their health and safety."

On his behalf, and on behalf of all MOH employees, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, extended the deepest and most sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his great concern and keen interest in improving the health services provided by the Government to all citizens and residents. He also thanked His Majesty King Abdullah for prudent directives he gave, and the appreciation for the Ministry of Health he expressed.

Concluding his cable, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that the gracious words of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques during the inauguration were like a soothing balm to all MOH employees. "They are a legion of honor of which we are proud. And they are prompting us forward to even more efforts in realizing the royal directives given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for the interest of our beloved Kingdom and loyal citizens. We are, hereby, swearing to Allah, and promising the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to work harder and exert more efforts," said Dr. Al-Rabeeah.
