DAMMAM — Over 216,000 foreign workers in the Eastern Province underwent medical tests and out of them 384 workers were found to be suffering from tuberculosis and hepatitis C.

This would disqualify them from obtaining and renewing their residency permits, said Dr. Khaled Bin Abdulrahman Al-Turki, Assistant Director General of Health Affairs in the Eastern Province. He said the studies conducted by the Health Affairs showed Indian, Filipino and Pakistani nationals top those who are affected by these diseases.
