RIYADH — For the second day in a row, the Health Ministry has said there have been no new deaths or infections of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), commonly known as coronavirus.
The ministry's statement said no new deaths or infections were so far reported. It said two cases in Riyadh have recovered from the disease in addition to one in Qunfudah. Since the virus was discovered in September 2012, a total of 700 people have contracted it, of whom 287 have died.
