ABHA – The Ministry of Health announced Friday that it had registered two new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infected patients to 729 since August 2012.
The first case was discovered in Taif. The patient, a 43-year-old male, is still in the intensive care unit. The second patient, a 38-year-old female, was discovered in Riyadh and she too is in the ICU. Acting Health Minister Adel Fakeih urged all health affairs directorates to intensify their efforts in fighting the coronavirus. He ordered officials to continue implementing preventive measures until all regions of the Kingdom have been declared free of coronavirus.
