RIYADH — Two people have died from the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and two more contracted the coronavirus, the Health Ministry announced on Wednesday.
It said an expatriate man aged 44 died in Shaqra and an 88-year-old Saudi woman died at a government hospital in Riyadh. The ministry said a 60-year-old expatriate man in Jeddah and a 59-year-old Saudi man in Riyadh have contracted the virus. It described their health condition to be stable. According to the ministry, coronavirus deaths have reached 412 since the virus was first discovered in the Kingdom in December 2012.
